UESPA Pollux Class Schooner

Second major design found in the Spaceflight Chronology Book. I used the Cochrane as the basis for this ship so as to create the classic "modular" design scheme of Matt Jefferies' Star Trek.

Backstory.
When Bonaventure NCC-005 first entered the Rigel system in 2102, it encountered Orion pirates at one of the Rigellian trading space ports and was crippled and captured. Initially the United Earth Government accused the Rigellians of the attack, but Vulcan diplomats negotiated an understanding of the situation and cooled off the rising tensions. The incident however motivated the United Earth Space Probe Agency to design and build their first military warship, the Pollux class Armed Schooner. This ships purpose was to act as an exploration craft and warship allowing it to survey and explore areas of space that were hazardous with potential hostiles.
